Belt conveyor installation steps and precautions

At present, the belt conveyor is widely used in mining, metallurgy, coal and other industries, because its installation accuracy is not as demanding as precision equipment such as machine tools and large motors, so some users will choose to do it themselves。However, the installation of the belt machine is not without precision requirements, once there is a problem, it will bring unnecessary trouble to the subsequent debugging and acceptance work, and it is also easy to cause accidents such as tape deviation in production。
The installation of the belt machine can be roughly divided into the following steps。
1. Preparation before installation
First, familiarize yourself with drawings。By looking at the drawings, understand the structure of the equipment, installation form, component and number of parts, performance parameters and other important information。Then familiarize yourself with the important installation dimensions and technical requirements on the drawings。If there are no special installation requirements, the general technical requirements of the belt machine are:
(1) The center line of the frame and the longitudinal center line of the conveyor should coincide, and the deviation is not more than 2mm。
(2) The straightness deviation of the center line of the frame should not be greater than 5mm within any 25m length。
(3) The vertical deviation of the rack legs to the ground should not be greater than 2/1000。
(4) The allowable deviation of the spacing of the middle frame is plus or minus 1.5mm, the height difference should not be greater than 2/1000 of the spacing。
(5) The transverse center line of the drum and the longitudinal center line of the conveyor should coincide, and the deviation is not more than 2mm。
(6) The vertical deviation between the axis of the roller and the longitudinal center line of the conveyor should not be greater than 2/1000, and the horizontal deviation should not be greater than 1/1000。
Equipment transfer work
Due to the large amount of equipment purchased during the construction period, it is impossible to place on the construction site。This requires that the equipment to be installed be picked out and marked for lifting。Before the reversal, try to find out all the equipment to be installed and used, and the second reversal is in place, which not only saves the platform cost of the car, but also improves the work efficiency。After the equipment is transferred and lifted into place, the installation site should be investigated to eliminate the unfavorable factors affecting the installation of the equipment。
2. Installation of equipment
Whether the belt conveyor can meet the design, installation requirements and normal and smooth operation, mainly depends on the installation accuracy of the drive device, drum and tail wheel, whether the center of the belt conveyor bracket and the center line of the drive device and tail wheel, so the installation of the payout is particularly important。
(1)放线
We can use the theodolite to mark between the head (driving device) and the tail (tail wheel), and then use the ink fountain to bounce the line point by point, so that the center line between the head and the tail is connected into a straight line, using this method to ensure high installation accuracy。
(2) Installation of the drive device
The driving device is mainly composed of motor, reducer, driving drum, bracket and so on。
First, we assemble and place the driving drum and bracket on the embedded plate, place a steel cushion plate between the embedded plate and bracket, and use a level to level the bracket to ensure that the levelness between the four points of the bracket is less than or equal to 0.5mm。
Then, find out the middle branch line of the driving drum, place the line drop on the middle branch line, and adjust the longitudinal and transverse middle branch line of the driving drum to coincide with the base center line。
When adjusting the elevation of the driving drum, it is also necessary to consider the allowance reserved for the adjustment of the elevation of the motor and the reducer。Since the connection between the motor and the reducer has been adjusted on the bracket when the equipment is manufactured, our task is to find the alignment, leveling, and ensuring the coaxiality between the reducer and the drive drum。
When adjusting, take the driving drum as the basis, because the reducer and the driving drum are connected by nylon rod elastic connection, the accuracy of the coaxiality can be appropriately relaxed, and the radial is adjusted to less than or equal to 0.2mm, end face not greater than 2/1000。
(3) Installation of the tail wheel
The tail wheel is composed of two parts: the bracket and the drum, and the adjustment steps are the same as the driving drum。
(4) Installation of legs, middle frame, roller support and roller support
Most of the legs of the belt machine are H-shaped, and their length and width are different according to the length and width of the belt and the amount of belt transportation。
Below, we take the leg width of 1500mm as an example, the specific operation method is as follows:
① First measure out the center line in the width direction and make a mark。
2 Put the legs on the embedded plate on the foundation, and use the line to drop the vertical line so that the center line of the width direction of the legs coincides with the center line of the foundation。
③ Mark any point on the center line of the foundation (generally within 1000mm), and use the mark as the base point to measure the distance between this point and the two legs, according to the isosceles triangle principle, when the two sizes are equal, the legs are found。
④ Welded legs, you can install the middle frame, it is made of 10 or 12 channel steel, in the width direction of the channel steel drilled with a diameter of 12 or 16mm row holes, is connected to the roller support。The connection between the middle frame and the support leg is welded, and the installation should be measured with a level to ensure the levelness and parallelism of the middle frame. The symmetry of the two channels of steel in the parallel direction should be straightened by diagonal measurement to ensure the smooth installation of the roller support and the upper center support。
⑤ Install the supporting roller bracket on the middle frame, connect it with bolts, and install the supporting roller on the supporting roller。It should be noted that the rollers under the blanking port are four groups of rubber rollers, which play the role of cushioning and damping。
⑥ Install the lower parallel roller and the lower center roller。
3. Installation of accessories and safety devices
The installation of accessories can only be carried out after the belt is placed on the bracket。Accessories include material guide chute, empty section cleaner, head cleaner, anti-deviation switch, chute, belt tightening device, etc。
(1) chute and guide chute
The chute is arranged on the feeding opening, and the lower part is connected with the feeding guide groove, which is arranged on the top of the tail belt。The ore material enters the chute through the drop port, and then enters the chute through the guide groove, which distributes the ore material in the center direction of the belt to prevent the ore material from splashing。
(2) Cleaner
The empty section cleaner is installed in the belt under the tail of the machine, and plays the role of cleaning the ore material under the belt。
The head cleaner is installed in the lower part of the head roller to clean the ore material of the upper belt。
(3) Tension device
The tensioning device includes spiral tensioning, vertical tensioning, horizontal car tensioning and so on。The screw tension is the body of the tail bracket, composed of nuts and lead screws, generally used for short belts。Vertical tension and car tension are used for longer belts。
(4) Install the device
The safety device includes head guard, tail guard, rope switch, etc。The safety device is installed on the rotating part of the belt conveyor to protect it。
After the operation of the above methods and steps, and ensure the accuracy range, through the empty load and load test, and adjust the belt deviation, you can run smoothly and safely。
